WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY
Bucksmore’s World University Preparation programme is both educational and enjoyable. While you get to meet and spend time with many amazing people from all around the World during your breaks, you get to learn about how to write your personal statement or what to do in your college interviews in your courses. Attending the World University Preparation programme helped me gain a better understanding of the British education system and what the universities are looking for in an applicant. It was a pleasant experience both socially and academically.
I really liked The Arts course because it was fascinating and the Critical Thinking lessons really helped me develop my skills. I enjoyed the trip to Oxford – it was so nice that I’ve decided to do my Master’s degree there. Corpus Christi College is a nice location and a good place to study during your undergraduate degree.
I really enjoyed the classes related to my personal statement because I found them really useful. I also liked the Maths lessons which were simultaneously fun and interesting. I enjoyed the trip to the London Universities because I wanted to apply to Imperial College and now I’m determined to do so. The course was excellent and I recommend it highly.

I particularly enjoyed the Cambridge Open Day because it allowed me to visit different colleges and faculties and therefore has helped me make a better choice about which to apply for. I enjoyed the subject tuition, and the personal statement lessons gave me some useful tips on how to write an effective personal statement.
I’ve never studied Economics before and a whole new world was revealed to me. The applications for university in the UK are very specific and were very well explained to us. Corpus Christi College is a very beautiful place, the trips are excellent and the food and accommodation are very good. I recommend taking this course if you want to go to university in the UK.
‘The IELTS lessons were extremely helpful! The Maths lessons were somewhat challenging, but exactly what made the course exciting. The Economics and Management course had a great teacher who passionately involved the students and made the lessons exciting and Caroline’s General Studies lessons were the most interesting lessons for me of all the course. Of the skills section, I probably found the interviews most helpful because I am inexperienced in that area. I need more practise.’
